Description
The Marsh-mallow presents an appealing appearance with compact clusters of sizable, pale pink to nearly white flowers, each approximately 4cm in diameter. The stems, reaching a height of about 1.2m, feature a downy texture and bear greyish, triangular leaves, which tend to wither in the autumn. This hardy perennial blooms from mid-summer to early autumn, and the flowering period is succeeded by the development of flat, round fruits.
