Description
Agapanthus ‘Bridal Bouquet’ is a variety of African Lily or Nile Lily which are popular as part of flowering garden borders or container planting due to their showy flowers and compact, clumping nature. The ‘Bridal Bouquet’ is a semi-evergreen herbaceous perennial plant with mounding, strap-like, mid-green foliage growing beneath tall, strong stems which carry trumpet-shaped pure white flowers throughout the Summer months, slightly earlier than most other varieties of Agapanthus and will occasional bear repeat blooms during its flowering period.
Plant in moist, fertile, well-drained soils and keep in full sun in a sheltered position. Can be planted outside in temperate regions but container planting is advised to avoid harsh Winter by moving under glass. Mulching and other forms of frost protection are also advised.
