Description
Sow seeds from February to March in modules or small pots undercover.
Sow 0.51 cm deep in moist seed compost and lightly cover.
Maintain a temperature of 20c+ and the seeds should germinate in 714 days.
Pot on seedlings once large enough to handle, keeping them in bright, sheltered conditions.
Transplant outdoors from May to early June in a sunny, sheltered position, spacing plants 40-50 cm apart.
Water regularly and provide support if needed.
Harvest from July to mid-September when fruits are firm, glossy, and fully coloured.
