Zamioculcas Zamiifolia, commonly known as the ZZ Plant, is a houseplant with gorgeous, feathered leaves. They show off a dark green colour and grow entirely vertical to create a totem-like addition to any home or office space. Each leaf is formed off of thick stems, ensuring it is well-structured and robust.
Being part of the Araceae family gives the plant another common name of Fern Arum. Whilst it will offer stunning foliage, the plant will rarely flower when grown indoors; although it can. Aim to have it sitting in bright, indirect light, wipe any dust lying on its leaves and mist between waterings. The plant is drought resistant so it will cope.
This Zamioculcas is ideal for filling small spaces on shelves, tables or windowsills that could do with a burst of greenery. It isn’t a demanding houseplant to care for so you can easily sit back and enjoy this new mini addition with no worries.
