Description
Begonia rex Zumba is yet another Rex Begonia plant that brings a vast array of colour, character and presence into any indoor setting you choose to place it in. The plants uniquely patterned scale-like foliage is made up of both light and dark green colouring, with a cluster of plant leaves bringing that eye-catching aspect to the fore. Whether you choose to place in in a home, office, window sill, bathroom or other indoor space, The King Begonia, as its more commonly known, should be located in partially shaded areas with minimal contact to direct sunlight. Once that is sorted, the plants air-purifying qualities will begin to show as it removes harmful pollutants and unwanted toxins, in favour of a fresh and stress-free surrounding atmosphere. Watering this plant is recommended on a once-a-week basis when the soil is dry to touch. When its dormant period of Winter comes around, limiting the water levels to once every two weeks is fine.
