Description
Our Vaccinium corymbosum Sunshine Blue is a deciduous shrub with a compact, rounded habit. It is a fruit-bearing plant with small, silver-green leaves that take on an attractive purple-red shade in Autumn. In Spring, an abundance of pink flowers will bloom, to be soon taken over by tasty, edible Blueberries that will harvest in large clusters. They will then be ready to harvest in mid-Summer, ripe and ready to include in juices, jams and more.
They will grow to an ultimate height and spread of 1.2m. In terms of plant care, it should be placed in bright, indirect sunlight and planted in moist, well-drained soil. Watering becomes essential when the soil is dry to touch.
