Coprosma Inferno Patio Tree

Description

Coprosma Inferno patio trees are evergreen plants with an upright growing habit. They grow well in pots and containers and are perfect for brightening up patios, driveways and terraces, as well as flanking entrances.

Also known as an outdoor mirror plant, this garden plant is often grown as evergreen shrubs and bushes. However, trained into a patio tree shape, they are excellent all year round plants for garden design. They provide height and structure to an outdoor space and their evergreen nature provides plenty of colour interest.

The glossy green foliage is similar to box hedge plants in shape and size. However, coprosma inferno leaves have a much more interesting colour scheme. In spring and summer, the shiny green leaves are edged in yellow-orange tones. The green is flushed with deep purple in autumn and winter when the edging turns a dramatic shade of red. Insignificant flowers and berries may appear on mature plants.

Plant in a sheltered spot in full sun or partial shade to enjoy these outdoor plants all year round. Potted patio trees may need some additional insulation to protect against Jack Frost in the winter months.
