Description
Cyperus alternifolius Zumula is a plant within the Cyperus genus. Its simple look is made unique by the blade-like shoots it forms and the safety it brings to cat owners. More commonly known as Cat Grass, four-legged felines are fond of the bright green foliage it possesses. You can be safe in the knowledge that your cat can roam freely with no worry of harm or toxicity.
Place the plant in bright, indirect light. This allows easy placement in locations such as homes, offices, desks and window sills. Placing it on the floor is also an option because of its non-toxic nature. It should be watered once a week so the soil stays relatively moist. Finally, avoid letting it stand in water for a large amount of time.
