Growing Instructions
Best sown/ Apr to Jun (no advantage to starting early as these are tender)
These do come from warmer climes therefore germination temp needs to be above 70F (21C) for good germination. Germination can be slow 10-25 days.
Sow in individual pots 1 inch (3 cm deep in a well-drained seed compost, excessive moisture or low temps will cause them to rot.
Gradually harden off seedlings before planting outside after all danger of frost has passed (can be grown successfully under glass).
The plants will need a support to climb and regular watering during hot dry weather.
