Description
A bushy, clump forming, semi-evergreen, hardy fern, known commonly as Curly Crested Male Fern. The Dryopteris filix-mas ‘Crispa Cristata’ produces crested, bright green fronds with curled, ruffled-look pinnae. It thrives best in damp, shaded areas like a woodland garden or as a border plant.
Low maintenance plant that thrives in partial to full shade. Plant in moist, well drained soil. Can tolerate partial or full sun if watered regularly.
