Description
This stunning, graceful plant, with slender grey-green leaves, is covered with airy wands of pink buds opening to star shaped white flowers with some pale pink shading and with long white stamens for an exceptional long period from May until September which are attractive to bees and other pollinating insects. In a breeze the flowers constantly move around looking like a cloud of swirling butterflies. Leave cutting back until after autumn as the plant takes on beautiful autumn tints. Plant in full sun or partial shade in any normal soil, but when established is drought tolerant. Best mulched to give winter protection. Height 80cm (31ins), spread 45cm (1.5ft).
