Grape – Vitis Generosa

Description

A vigorous, spreading, deciduous vine with pale pink fruit well suited to for winemaking. The Vitis ‘Generosa’ is a hardy, disease resistance variety of grape vine with toothed, mid-green leaves appearing alongside dense clusters of tiny, pale green flowers from early Summer which are followed by large, conical clusters of late season pink-white grapes with an acidic flavour which produce spicy, white wines.

Plant in light, rich, well-drained soils rich in nitrogen and keep in full or partial sun in a sheltered position. Requires generous amount of water regularly for best fruiting. Feed yearly with organic fertiliser to maintain soil quality. Protect from Winter frosts.
