Description
A clump forming perennial which dies down in the winter, shooting again in spring. It is a mutation from the popular Hosta Guacamole but more dramatic with its vivid yellow, glossy leaves with dark green margins and pale green marking between the prominent veins. The leaves are slightly convex and overlapping giving a real dazzling effect especially when planted in a shady area. In late summer it produces tall spikes of fragrant, tubular, pale purple flowers with darker stripes. Plant in any moist but well drained soil in part or full shade. Height 40cm (16ins), spread 80cm (32ins).
