Hoya ‘Mathilde’

Description

Loved for their easy going nature and striking blooms, species of Hoyas are popular houseplants. Hoya ‘Mathilde’ is particularly in demand, due to its glossy oval shaped leaves. Deep green leaves, with a waxy coating, are covered in delicate touches of silver, which are accompanied by crisp white and pink fragrant blooms during spring or summer.

WATERING

Water when 80% of the soil is dry.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Bright but not direct.

FEED

Use a houseplant fertiliser once a month from April – October.

REPOTTING

Repot every two years to give the roots more space to grow and to replenish the soil. Use a well draining house plant compost with 30-40% added draining medium like perlite, grit or hydroleca.
