Description
This cultivated Madagascan succulent produces soft, fang-like protrusions from the undersides of its leaves which gives it its name. Growing to a multi-branched small shrub over half a meter tall, its leaves will change from a chocolate brown to a metallic grey as the plant ages.
WATERING
In Summer water thoroughly only when 100% of the soil has dried out. A/W allow soil to dry 100% – water sparingly (every two month). Spring gradually increase watering – depending on temp and light exposure.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Full sun.
FEED
Use a cactus fertiliser 2-3 times a year between April – September.
REPOTTING
Repotting once every 2-3 years to replenish soil. Use a cactus compost with a good mix of perlite.
