Description
Leucothoe ‘Rainbow’, also known as Dog Hobble, is a bright evergreen with vibrant, slender red stems bearing colourful foliage with beautiful cream and pink variegation. Clusters of small, drooping, bell-shaped cream-white flowers appear late in the Spring and through to early Summer. Works well as a Winter specimen plant or a part of a mixed border.
Grows well in moist, well-drain soiled. Prefers acidic soils with ericaceous compost and should be kept in full or partial sun, with partial sun bringing out more of the foliage colours. Water regularly and consistently.
