Description
A very exciting variety with distinctive colouration of foliage and beautiful, vibrant flowers; the deciduous Malus toringo ‘Aros’ is a beautiful dwarf upright tree with striking purple-red serrated foliage nearing black which appears in Spring, gaining shades and hues of green as the leaves mature. Clusters of small, richly coloured deep pink, white-eyed flowers appear in the Spring followed by small deep red Crab Apples in the Summer lasting to the Autumn months.
Plant in moderately fertile, well-drained soil. Keep in full or partial sun. Partial sun may affect colouration of the leaves. Maintain soil moisture with regular watering. A great small garden plant that requires little to no pruning and minimal upkeep.
