Description
Miscanthus sinensis Navajo is a deciduous, clump-forming, perennial grass which is perfect for adding colour and texture to any garden. Narrow, arching leaves change colour as the seasons change, flushed with red in spring, fading to olive green over the summer months, and eventually boasting reddish bronze leaves in autumn.
In late summer, feathery silver flowers with a rosy tint open, remaining until late autumn or early winter. Plant Miscanthus sinensis Navajo in moist, well-drained soil such as chalk, clay, loam or sand in a sunny position in the garden. Pruning is best when leaves and flowers are dying away or in early spring.
