This kit makes it easy to grow your own mushrooms. You don’t even have to go outside to pluck them from the ground as you can harvest them right in your kitchen, only taking the amount you need. The first flush of mushrooms will appear in as little as 3 weeks.
White button mushrooms boast a mild, earthy flavour that works well in a wide variety of dishes. They are full of health benefits and, as such, make up a big part of many vegetarian and vegan diets.
The kit is simple to use and relies on following a watering schedule. Leave the pack to settle for 24 hours when it arrives and spray 10cl of water over the peat-based soil on the second day. Replace the lid and leave the pack until day 9. At this point, lightly spray the soil every second day until around day 23, when the mushrooms will be ready to pluck.
