Description
Compact evergreen with upright habit that resembles bamboo. Popular for its vibrant foliage which changes with the seasons. Young foliage is a bright fiery red which matures to a grey-green before returning to a red hue in the Autumn and Winter months. In the Summer clusters of small white flowers appear maturing into glossy, bright red berries in the Autumn. Drought and weather tolerant, it is a low maintenance shrub and is suitable for pot or container planting, or as part of a mixed border.
Plant in moist, well-drained soil. Keep in full to partial sun and sheltered from strong winds. May require some protection from frost during harsh Winters.
