Description
This slow growing, undemanding cactus is also known as the totem-pole cactus. It is much sought after by collectors for its irregular shaped green stems and spineless areoles.
WATERING
In summer water thoroughly only when 100% of the soil has dried out. A/W allow soil to dry 100% – water sparingly (every two months). In spring gradually increase watering – depending on temperature and light exposure.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Full sun.
FEED
Use a cactus and succulent fertiliser every other month during the growing season.
REPOTTING
This species can live in the same pot for many years; when the roots fill the container, repot using a free-draining potting mix that includes a high ratio of pumice, perlite or gravel.
POT SIZE / HEIGHT
See available sizes below. Please note that, due to their natural variability, specimens’ height may be within 10-20% of the stated height below.
Plant is supplied in its plastic nursery pot.
