Redcurrant Rovada

Description

Our Ribes rubrum Rovada is a heavy cropping fruit plant. It will grow in a compact form, showing off lovely, pale green flowers in Spring. The plant will then begin harvesting edible, bright red Redcurrants in Summer, with each cluster drooping down over the plants green foliage. The fruit will add an array of sweet flavour to meals such as puddings, pies, jellies, wines and more.

They will grow to an ultimate height and spread of 1m. In terms of plant care, it should be placed in bright, indirect sunlight and planted in moist, well-drained soil. Watering becomes essential when the soil is dry to touch.
