Description
Very versatile patio climbing rose which, from June to the first frosts, produces masses of clusters of semi-double purple flowers, 7cm (2.5ins) across, which fade slowly to mauve with a lighter centre and golden stamens. These are very fragrant and bee friendly. It has lush, glossy, light-green foliage which is divided into lightly-serrated ovate leaves. Plant in humus rich, moist but well drained soil in a sunny position, but is tolerant of partial shade and will grow on a north facing wall.
