Description
Start the seeds indoors between March-April.
Sow the seeds on the surface of moist compost and lightly cover
Place in a heated propagator at a constant temperature of 20-25c.
If the seeds dont germinate, cold stratify them for 4 weeks before placing them back in a propagator.
The seeds will germinate in 10-21 days.
Once the seedlings are 5-7cm, transplant into individual pots.
Gradually acclimatise the plants to cooler conditions.
When the seedlings have formed 2-3 pairs of leaves, pinch out the tips.
Plant out once the risk of frost has passed (May-June).
Deadhead the plants regularly to encourage an extended flowering period.
