Description
Salvia ‘germander sage’ Trees have a bushy habit and are ideal for small gardens, borders and patios. They add a burst of colours with their purple/blue two-lipped flowers that are held in whorls. The trees stand upright, against the canvas of silken grey-green foliage, they attract birds, bees, butterflies and other pollinating insects.
As the tree settles in, it is always recommended to lightly prune back towards the end of flourishing season. With this particular variety, it is advised to prune annually to encourage strong, healthy shoots and improve flowering for the following season. This will also prolong the life span for the tree. As Winter comes, the tree will enter its dormant stage of development and will shed all its leaves due to being deciduous.
