Description
Sambucus nigra ‘Golden Tower’ is a deciduous upright shrub. The foliage of this variety is a distinctive golden colour, and it’s upright nature ensures it grows narrow and tall, hence it’s name. The spectacular colour is coupled with the perfectly incised leaves that give it a fine texture throught spring and summer, closely followed by small clusters of fragrant white flowers which give way to glossy black berries in autumn, these attract all manner of birds to your garden. Ideal as part of a border or mixed hedge garden, this variety is suited to most soils and requires little to no pruning.
