Description
This particular specimen has thick woody stems, veering off to the side with a wide, lush canopy.
Native to the tropical rainforests of northern and northeastern Queensland coasts and the Northern Territory of Australia, Schefflera actinophylla ‘Amate’ is a hardy species with broad glossy green leaves. Palmately compound, the leaves are made up of smaller oblong leaflets which gently arch at the tips.
WATERING
In S/S water when 30% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 50%.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Bright, indirect.
FEED
Use a houseplant fertiliser once a month from April – October.
REPOTTING
Repot every 1-2 years. Use a well draining house plant compost with added draining medium like perlite.
