Description
One of the first flowers to poke its head above ground from winter to early spring. A hardy dwarf perennial with a delicate fragrance and nodding, snowy white blooms. This variety bursts open from narrow, dark grey-green stems, and are known as one of the most wonderful sights in the winter months.
They love dappled shade under trees and look even better when planted in drifts through grass, where they will naturalise easily and return in a denser spread the following year. Alternatively, plant in groups at the front of borders and beds, or underplant alongside roses and healthy shrubs. At a time when little else is in flower, they also make an attractive feature in rock gardens and pots.
