Ferraria crispa is a fascinating member of the Iris family, resembling a starfish it will make an eye-catching addition to your summer planting scheme. The unique blooms will appear in June and July where they will stand stall on 40cm stems and really demand attention with their star shaped golden yellow, patterned flowers. Perfect for growing in pots, Ferraria crispa prefers good drainage so mix some coarse sand with your compost. Once summer is over, lift them and replant then, this will allow the bulbs to multiple each year giving you a plentiful crop of this rare beauty. Delivered as 3 corms, ready to plant out from February to May.
