Description
This glorious Tephrocactus is all about the spines. Reaching to possible lengths of 30cm, it can boast the longest spines in the whole genus. Although appearing paper-like and almost flimsy, these randomised spines are sharp and designed to keep all at bay.
WATERING
In summer water thoroughly only when 100% of the soil has dried out. A/W allow soil to dry 100% – water sparingly (every two months). Spring gradually increase watering – depending on temp and light exposure.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Full sun.
REPOTTING
Repot every 2-3 years using cacti & succulent compost, with added drainage such as pumice and perlite.
FEED
Use a cactus feed from March – November every other time you water.
