Description
Lycopersicon lycopersicum: A compact beefsteak tomato variety known for its abundant, flavourful fruit. Exhibiting some resistance to blight, this indeterminate type requires support and can be grown outdoors or in a greenhouse. Rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, it derives its name from the book The Red Bodyguard: The Amazing Health-promoting Properties of the Tomato by Ron Levin. Sarah Levin, Rons daughter-in-law, approached us to commemorate her father-in-laws 90th birthday with the introduction of this indeterminate, early-cropping, high-yielding strain, featuring medium-sized, juicy fruits.
