Description
The foliage of Cyrtosperma johnstonii, also known as Alocasia ‘Black Jack’, is completely enticing. Bright green leaves are slightly textured, while deep red venation makes for a rather atmospheric look, sitting atop dark stripy stems.
WATERING
In S/S water when 20% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 70%.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Bright, indirect.
FEED
Use a houseplant fertiliser every 2 – 4 weeks from April – October.
REPOTTING
Repot roughly every 1-1.5 years. Use a well draining house plant compost with added draining medium like perlite.
